Citizen Science projects aim to advance research, as well as further the public\u2019s understanding of science and scientific problems.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/climmob.net\/blog\/wiki\/tricot-experiment\/\">tricot project<\/a>, the citizen scientists are called <a href=\"https:\/\/climmob.net\/blog\/wiki\/grower\/\">participants<\/a> (observers, who can be farmers or consumers). They are not professional scientists, but they also innovate agricultural technology.
